DESCRIPTION:
Ansonia Clock Co., New York, NY, "Mechanical Clock" shelf clock with spring driven 8 day time and strike movement in a cast iron case
CONDITION:
The figurines, the flag and the deck have been cleaned so there is no remaining finish. The ship's wheel rotates back and forth as the clock ticks. The cast iron case with gilt inlay is in very nice condition. The porcelain dial has no chips or hairline cracks. The hands are original. Overall a very clean example of this model.
